Fellow Californians…yes, I am from California. I’ve been hearing more and more folks referring to the entire “Marijuana helps you to save our economy”, and frankly, I really could not DISAGREE MORE! Call it an opinion, but I call it a fact. Marijuana is not going to save our economy. We’re in a recession, face it. It looks like some individuals on the market want to make use of this economy to make something that’s outright ridiculous seems reasonable. If you watch the news or have any kind of social life, you’re aware of all of the negatives which are carried along side drugs, especially marijuana.
Furthermore, all of the problems are going on in California. Making the drug legal cause all hell to break loose. Recently, I was watching a video of violence at the border of California and Mexico. Would you do you know what the violence was over? Marijuana. I do not mean to sound prejudice, but when marijuana is manufactured legal, the amount of crime at the border will probably skyrocket. Mona brand Is it really worth it? Making this drug legal so our economy can improve a bit? Heck, we are not really sure if the master plan would work! Our economy is bad enough, and the last thing we want is really a drug war going on within our country, or state for that matter. The reason I say the nation is that when California does it, other states are sure to follow.
Marijuana activists claim that there were ZERO deaths from marijuana, and then they compare it to the numerous deaths caused by alcohol. Sure, this may be true. Marijuana hasn’t caused any direct deaths, meaning no you’ve got actually died as a result of health problem from marijuana. Nonetheless, marijuana leads people to do issues that they’d never do when they were within their right state of mind. Marijuana DOES cause deaths.
So for all of you all Californians who think this idea is a good one, please take a seat and deeply reconsider what you’re saying. The economy is horrible, and let’s not make it worse. Obama is in now, and we could depend on him to repair things. I am sure he too would believe the marijuana proposal is really a horrible one, and brings just negatives to their state of California. Just my two cents though! Feel free to say what you think, as I’m sure there are numerous people that are on the contrary side of the spectrum as me.
